Introduction

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems across multiple properties, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
- Develop and manage annual capital‑expenditure budgets, tracking costs against forecasts and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Coordinate with procurement, facilities, and external contractors to schedule preventive maintenance and rapid response to service interruptions.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, energy consumption, and response time to technical incidents.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including energy‑efficiency retrofits, renewable‑energy integration, and waste‑reduction programs.
- Collaborate with the hospitality operations team to align engineering projects with guest‑service goals, especially in high‑mobility areas such as airport terminals.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to safety protocols, conducting regular risk assessments and safety drills.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of all engineering assets, schematics, and maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a senior engineering or supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality, capsule‑hotel, or airport sectors.
- Educational background of at least SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical certifications in electrical engineering or related fields are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building automation, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee large‑scale projects.
- Valid driving license (preferred) to facilitate site visits across multiple locations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service‑oriented mindset and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in project‑management software and familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet critical project deadlines.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and a good command of English for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
