Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Merchandiser Penjualan to join our fast‑growing FMCG and Personal Care team in Bogor. This full‑time position offers a structured Monday‑to‑Friday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and is ideal for candidates who thrive in a field‑based sales environment, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are passionate about brand visibility. As a key member of our distribution network, you will act as the frontline ambassador for our product portfolio, ensuring that retail partners present our brands in the most compelling and profitable manner.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor weekly merchandising routes across the assigned Bogor territory, ensuring optimal product placement on shelves.
- Implement visual merchandising standards, including planograms, shelf tags, and promotional displays, to maximize shelf impact.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, category managers, and retail staff to negotiate prime shelf space and promotional opportunities.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess compliance, gather competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and submit detailed visit reports, sales forecasts, and stock replenishment requests using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to launch new product introductions, in‑store activations, and seasonal campaigns.
- Train retail personnel on product features, benefits, and usage techniques to enhance customer knowledge and drive sales.
- Monitor inventory levels, report out‑of‑stock situations, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely replenishment.
- Analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to improve merchandising strategies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance standards while operating a personal vehicle for work‑related travel.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study fields are acceptable.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in FMCG or Personal Care sales, preferably with a focus on merchandising.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of display techniques, planogram implementation, and retail merchandising principles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent public speaking, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities; highly organized with a proactive attitude.
- Transportation: Own reliable motor vehicle to cover daily route visits.
- Residency: Preference given to candidates residing within the designated service area to reduce travel time.
- Availability: Ability to work the standard Monday‑Friday schedule; occasional weekend or holiday activities may be required for special promotions.
