Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC milling machines according to production orders and engineering specifications.
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, CNC programs, and work instructions to determine machining parameters.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work‑holding devices.
- Monitor machine performance in real‑time, making adjustments to feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool paths to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Document production data, machine settings, and any deviations in the manufacturing log.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC control systems and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and planning teams to resolve design issues and improve process flow.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting tool‑life extensions, cycle‑time reductions, and cost‑saving measures.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all qualified candidates (both male and female applicants are encouraged).
- Age: Maximum 30 years.
- Education: Minimum SMK in Mechanical Engineering / Machining; a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience operating CNC milling machines.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in CNC milling operations and basic programming.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Competent with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of machine control systems and basic maintenance procedures.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork orientation.
- Time‑management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
