The successful candidate will be stationed at partner merchants that integrate Shopee PayLater into their checkout process, acting as the face of the brand and driving adoption among customers through engaging product demonstrations and personalized assistance.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote Shopee PayLater services at designated merchant locations, explaining features, benefits, and eligibility criteria to potential users.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets by converting foot traffic into active PayLater users.
- Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, assist customers with the application process, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
- Collect and verify required documentation, input data accurately into the Shopee system, and follow up on pending applications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing promotional booth or display area that reflects the Shopee brand standards.
- Monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and provide feedback to the regional sales manager on consumer trends.
- Prepare daily activity reports, track key performance indicators, and report any issues or customer concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with merchant staff to schedule promotional events, special offers, and seasonal campaigns that boost PayLater usage.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product enhancements, compliance guidelines, and sales techniques.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, serving as a trusted ambassador for Shopee PayLater.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 19–35 years (maximum 35 years).
- Gender: All genders accepted; however, the position is open only to non‑hijab candidates as per current operational guidelines.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, retail, or direct customer engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to work target‑oriented environments and meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Professional appearance and ability to present a polished, attractive image to the public.
- Basic data analysis skills to interpret sales metrics and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Flexibility to work on a Tuesday‑to‑Sunday schedule, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Willingness to be placed at merchant locations that partner with Shopee PayLater.
