We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat untuk SMP IPA to join our dynamic team in Bandar Lampung. This full‑time private tutoring position focuses on delivering high‑quality science education (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) to junior high school students. The role offers a structured work week from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and is ideal for candidates who possess a genuine passion for teaching, a creative mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility toward young learners.
The successful applicant will work directly with students in a one‑on‑one or small‑group setting, helping them grasp complex scientific concepts, improve study habits, and build confidence for academic examinations.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum for grades 7‑9 (SMP) science topics such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Assess each student’s learning style and academic level, customizing instructional strategies to maximize comprehension and retention.
- Prepare practice worksheets, quizzes, and mock exams to track progress and identify areas needing reinforcement.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing detailed reports on performance, attendance, and behavioral observations.
- Incorporate hands‑on experiments, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to foster a love for scientific inquiry.
- Monitor and record attendance, lesson outcomes, and any challenges encountered, ensuring transparent documentation for internal review.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and the academic coordinator to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methodologies.
- Uphold a safe, disciplined, and supportive learning environment, emphasizing respect, patience, and ethical conduct.
- Utilize personal transportation to travel to students’ homes or designated tutoring centers within Bandar Lampung.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Science, or a related field; candidates in the final semester are also considered.
- At least 1 year of proven experience teaching middle‑school science or related subjects.
- Age not exceeding 35 years.
