Responsibilities
- Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group lessons in Iqro (reading of the Qur’an) and full Qur’an recitation, adapting teaching methods to each student’s learning style.
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the institute’s pedagogical standards.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, oral recitation tests, and feedback sessions, providing constructive guidance for improvement.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and lesson reports, communicating progress to parents or guardians on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and curriculum designers to create engaging supplemental materials such as flashcards, audio recordings, and interactive activities.
- Uphold a disciplined yet nurturing classroom atmosphere, emphasizing respect, punctuality, and spiritual values.
- Participate in periodic training workshops and community outreach programs to stay current with modern teaching techniques and Islamic educational trends.
- Utilize personal transportation to travel to student homes within Solo Raya, ensuring punctual and reliable service.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor degree) in Education, Islamic Studies, or related fields.
- Active university students (up to semester 5) or fresh graduates; teachers on a freelance or honorarium basis are also welcome.
- Proficient in teaching Iqro and Qur’an recitation at various levels, with a solid grasp of Tajweed rules.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to motivate learners of diverse ages.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Residency in Solo Raya (Surakarta, Sukoharjo, Karanganyar, Boyolali) is preferred.
- Own reliable vehicle for commuting to students’ locations.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Additional skill: Ability to develop teaching aids and enhance instructional techniques.
