Introduction
FIFGROUP Gresik, a leading player in the consumer financing and retail sector in East Java, is seeking a diligent and personable Petugas Penagihan Lapangan (Field Collection Officer) to join our growing team. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and fostering strong relationships with our valued customers. The successful candidate will work primarily in the Gresik region, conducting on‑site visits to clients whose payments are past due, documenting outcomes, and ensuring a professional, courteous approach that reflects FIFGROUP’s commitment to customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic field visits to customers with overdue payments, adhering to a predefined schedule and route optimization.
- Engage with customers to understand payment barriers, negotiate realistic repayment plans, and secure timely settlements.
- Prepare detailed visit reports, including payment commitments, objections raised, and any required follow‑up actions, and submit them promptly to the supervising manager.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system, updating customer status, contact information, and transaction history.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit analysis, legal, and customer service to coordinate collection strategies and resolve disputes.
- Identify early warning signs of delinquency and provide feedback to the credit department for proactive risk management.
- Uphold company policies, data privacy regulations, and ethical standards while handling sensitive financial information.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with customers, representing FIFGROUP’s brand with professionalism and empathy.
- Participate in weekly briefings to share field insights, discuss challenging cases, and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Adhere to the assigned work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and manage travel time efficiently.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: No prior collection experience required; fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are welcome.
- Core Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to handle objections calmly.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and data entry tools.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining accountability.
- Physical requirement: Ability to travel locally and spend extended periods on foot or in a vehicle.
