Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and personable Petugas Penjagaan dan Pelayanan Toko to join our women’s fashion boutique located on the 4th floor of the new Samarinda Morning Market building (No. 219). This role is ideal for a local female candidate who is enthusiastic about the fashion industry, enjoys interacting with customers, and is ready to contribute to a dynamic retail environment.
The successful applicant will become the face of our store, ensuring that every visitor receives courteous service, accurate product information, and a pleasant shopping experience. If you are honest, confident, eager to learn, and can be easily reached, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assist them in selecting women’s apparel, and provide styling suggestions that align with current fashion trends.
- Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor, including arranging merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring fitting rooms are clean.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions efficiently, process payments, and issue receipts while adhering to cash handling policies.
- Answer inquiries about product availability, sizes, and promotional offers with a polite and professional tone.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low‑stock items, and coordinate with the back‑office team for timely reorders.
- Participate in visual merchandising activities such as setting up window displays and seasonal promotions to attract foot traffic.
- Maintain accurate customer records, capture feedback, and forward any complaints or suggestions to management for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with store safety and security procedures, including opening and closing duties.
- Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, fabric care, and brand knowledge to provide credible advice.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to achieve daily sales targets and create a cohesive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (male candidates are respectfully excluded).
- Must reside in Samarinda; applicants from other locations will not be considered.
- No prior work experience required; fresh candidates are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to convey information politely and cheerfully.
- High level of honesty and integrity – the most critical attribute.
- Self‑confidence, willingness to learn, and proactive attitude.
- Reliable contactability; responsiveness is essential for scheduling and emergencies.

- Availability to work flexible hours, Monday through Sunday, with a scheduled day off every ten days.
