Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Staf Dapur – Pengelola Operasional Dapur dan Persiapan Makanan to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, from ingredient preparation to maintaining impeccable hygiene standards. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of raw ingredients – washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning – to meet the chef’s specifications.
  • Set up cooking stations and arrange all necessary utensils, pots, and pans before service begins.
  • Maintain rigorous cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising work surfaces, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
  • Implement proper storage procedures such as FIFO (First‑In‑First‑Out) to guarantee food safety and minimize waste.
  • Support plating and garnishing tasks under the direction of senior kitchen staff, ensuring each dish meets visual and taste standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of staple ingredients, promptly reporting low stock to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Execute routine kitchen sanitation tasks, including cleaning of grills, ovens, and equipment, to uphold health‑code compliance.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen managers on special projects, such as menu testing, recipe documentation, and seasonal ingredient handling.
  • Assist with specialized tasks for seafood operations, such as cleaning shellfish, de‑shelling shrimp, and preparing crab meat, when applicable.
  • Adapt quickly to sudden service spikes, handling multiple orders while maintaining accuracy and speed.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Open to all genders; no age limit.
  • Zero to several years of kitchen experience – beginners are welcome, though prior kitchen exposure is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding hygiene and food safety.
  • Ability to work swiftly and maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to assist colleagues under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting, standing for long periods, and repetitive tasks.
  • Adaptability, quick‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and safe handling of knives and hot surfaces.
