Introduction

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine health screenings, including vision, hearing, and dental checks, and maintain accurate medical records for each student.
- Provide first‑aid response and emergency care during school hours, coordinating with local health services when advanced medical attention is required.
- Develop and deliver age‑appropriate health education programs covering nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with teachers and school administrators to integrate health‑related topics into the curriculum and school activities.
- Monitor and manage the school’s health inventory, ensuring that medical supplies, vaccines, and emergency equipment are stocked and properly maintained.
- Organize health‑related events such as immunization drives, health fairs, and wellness workshops for students, staff, and parents.
- Maintain confidentiality of all health records in compliance with national privacy regulations.
- Prepare monthly and annual health reports for school leadership and relevant government agencies.
- Support students with chronic conditions by developing individualized health plans and coordinating with families and healthcare providers.
- Promote a positive school climate by fostering teamwork, empathy, and respectful communication among students and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: S1 in Health Management, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field.
- Age: Candidates must be within the legal working age limit (no maximum age restriction).
- Gender: Male (as specified by the hiring policy).
- Physical and mental health: Must be in good physical condition and possess a sound mental state to handle emergency situations.
- Personality: Strong, positive character with a genuine love for working with children.
- Employment status: Not currently employed by another government or private institution.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and health professionals.
- Skills: Proficiency in health management, basic first‑aid, record‑keeping, and health education delivery.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but internships or volunteer work in school health settings are advantageous.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
