Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Officer Internal Control to join our expanding team at Bina Artha Ventura in the vibrant region of Sulawesi Tengah, specifically the city of Palu. This position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of our branch operations, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, and driving continuous improvement across all locations. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between corporate headquarters and branch staff, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly on‑site visits to each branch to audit adherence to Bina Artha Ventura’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal control frameworks.
- Provide hands‑on coaching and re‑explanations to branch personnel, translating policy into practical, day‑to‑day actions that enhance operational performance.
- Identify gaps in processes, document findings, and develop corrective action plans in collaboration with branch managers.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to risk management, transaction accuracy, and customer satisfaction, reporting trends to senior management.
- Support the credit department by reviewing loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and flagging potential credit risks.
- Coordinate with internal audit, compliance, and risk‑management teams to align branch activities with the broader governance structure.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of branch visits, audit results, and training sessions in the company’s centralized reporting system.
- Facilitate workshops and training modules that reinforce a strong internal control mindset among staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulators during inspections or inquiries pertaining to branch operations.
- Travel regularly using personal vehicle, ensuring timely presence at all assigned branches throughout the Palu area.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma 3 (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (D4) in any discipline; degrees in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting are preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or a comparable sector. Experience as a Credit Marketing Officer, Credit Analyst, or Junior Auditor is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, capable of interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with audit or risk‑management software.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for branch travel.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to be based in Palu and travel across the region as required.
