Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing room occupancy, conference bookings, and ancillary revenue streams.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships through regular follow‑ups, personalized service, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts that align with client needs and corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, revenue management, and front‑office teams to ensure consistent messaging and optimal pricing.
  • Utilize the VHP (Venue Hospitality Platform) system to manage leads, track sales pipelines, and generate performance reports.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine sales tactics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar sales role within the hotel or broader hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with the VHP system or comparable hospitality sales software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities; able to build rapport quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast learner, adaptable, and comfortable handling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated talent for problem‑solving and thriving under pressure.
  • Non‑smoker status is considered an advantage, reflecting our commitment to a healthy workplace.
