Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Cashier (Kasir Restoran) to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. Responsibilities
- Accurately handle all cash, credit card, and electronic payments using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Enter guest orders promptly, verify order details, and communicate special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude, answer basic menu questions, and provide information on promotions or specials.
- Maintain a tidy and organized cashier station, ensuring that receipts, cash drawers, and payment devices are readily available.
- Reconcile cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including preparing cash float, securing funds, and completing shift reports.
- Collaborate closely with waitstaff, kitchen crew, and supervisors to ensure smooth service flow and rapid resolution of guest concerns.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, following all restaurant policies regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on menu updates, POS enhancements, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
