Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Acquisition Merchant EDC to join our expanding team in the Kab. Halmahera Tengah area. This role focuses on driving the adoption of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines among micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM). The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive field outreach, building strong relationships with business owners, and achieving daily sales targets that contribute to our mission of enhancing digital payment accessibility across the region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing and scheduled visits to UMKM to introduce and demonstrate EDC machines.
- Achieve a minimum sales target of 2–3 EDC units per day by effectively presenting product benefits and addressing client objections.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective merchants through cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Prepare customized proposals, negotiate contract terms, and ensure smooth onboarding of new merchants.
- Provide on‑site training and post‑sale support to ensure merchants can operate the EDC devices confidently.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, sales reports, and market feedback using our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the regional sales manager and marketing team to align outreach strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, offering insights for product enhancements and pricing adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and safety standards while on the road.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; no upper age limit.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology solutions.
- Own a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) and hold a valid SIM C driver’s license.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment.
- Basic analytical abilities to assess sales data, identify patterns, and propose actionable improvements.
- Proficiency in using smartphones, mobile apps, and simple office software for reporting.
