Introduction
Panton Labu is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer – Marketing to join our expanding team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by promoting our product portfolio to both existing and new customers across the distribution network. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self‑starter with a solid foundation in B2C sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with dealers and end‑users. This is a full‑time position with a Monday‑Saturday schedule, offering the chance to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment while contributing directly to the company’s market share and brand reputation.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and engage existing and prospective customers to present Panton Labu’s product range, tailoring pitches to meet individual needs and market conditions.
- Generate new orders through the company’s distribution channels, ensuring accurate capture of initial customer data and timely submission of credit applications.
- Conduct thorough verification of customer documentation, coordinate with the finance team, and ensure all credit dossiers are complete and compliant with internal policies.
- Monitor the progress of each credit application, provide regular status updates to dealers and customers, and communicate final credit decisions promptly.
- Inform customers of payment terms, due dates, and collection locations, while handling any queries related to invoices, delivery schedules, or product warranties.
- Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and CRM records, tracking key performance indicators such as lead conversion rate, order volume, and collection efficiency.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and address any post‑sale issues that may arise.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, provide market feedback, and propose initiatives to improve product positioning and sales processes.
- Travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle, adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C).
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and customer service in every interaction.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any field), with a strong preference for candidates who have completed relevant sales or marketing coursework.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in B2C sales, preferably within the consumer goods or distribution sector. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to negotiate effectively and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet targets, and report accurately on progress.
- Own a reliable motor vehicle and hold a valid SIM A/C.
- Willingness to work in the location that matches the candidate’s domicile and to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in basic office software (MS Office, CRM tools) and the ability to learn company‑specific systems quickly.
