Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer (Petugas Keamanan Perusahaan) to join our team and help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This full‑time position operates Monday through Saturday, providing critical support to our organization’s daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both on foot and via vehicle, to deter and detect any unauthorized activities.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, promptly responding to any alerts or suspicious behavior.
- Manage access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Maintain detailed incident reports, logs, and daily activity records, documenting any security breaches, accidents, or emergencies.
- Provide immediate assistance during emergencies, including fire evacuation, medical incidents, or security threats, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform routine checks of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and lighting to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to enforce company policies, support event security, and facilitate smooth operations during high‑traffic periods.
- Deliver courteous customer service to employees and visitors, answering queries and guiding them to appropriate facilities.
- Participate in regular training sessions on security best practices, first aid, and conflict resolution.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in a security role is preferred, though motivated newcomers with a strong work ethic are welcome.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a high level of personal responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle stressful situations calmly, and make quick, sound decisions.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the capacity to operate independently when required.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond swiftly to incidents.
- Basic knowledge of security equipment, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols.
