Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders, inputting them into the POS system with attention to detail.
  • Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff and coordinate timing to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Serve dishes and drinks in a courteous and timely manner, checking back to confirm satisfaction.
  • Handle payment transactions, process cash, credit cards, and mobile payments while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Upsell complementary items such as desserts, specialty coffees, and promotional beverages.
  • Address guest inquiries, resolve minor issues on the spot, and escalate complex concerns to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow during peak periods.
  • Participate in pre‑shift briefings, post‑shift clean‑up, and regular training sessions to continuously improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s hiring policy).
  • Age: Maximum 25 years old.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates with a strong work ethic are welcome.
  • Key qualities: Discipline, honesty, meticulousness, and a high level of work enthusiasm.
  • Preferred: Residence close to the restaurant to ensure punctuality and reliability.
  • Essential skills: Basic food and beverage service techniques, ability to operate a POS system, and strong interpersonal communication.
  • Soft skills: Excellent teamwork, multitasking ability, problem‑solving mindset, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
