Introduction
PT. Mentari Gemilang Perdana Sentosa is a fast‑growing Indonesian integrator that specializes in electrical solutions for industrial, commercial, and residential markets. As the company expands its portfolio of Schneider Electric products, it is establishing its first dedicated technical support function. The Senior Technical Support Specialist will be the cornerstone of this new team, providing hands‑on assistance to customers, building internal processes, and occasionally stepping into a sales role when demand is low.
Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support for the installation, commissioning, and start‑up of Schneider Electric equipment, including low‑voltage panels, wiring systems, and control devices.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting, diagnose faults, and deliver rapid, documented solutions to minimize downtime for retailers and panel builders.
- Collaborate closely with the sales department to understand customer requirements, propose appropriate product configurations, and ensure smooth hand‑over from sales to service.
- Act as the primary liaison with Schneider Electric representatives, staying current on product updates, firmware releases, and technical bulletins.
- Develop and formalize the company’s technical support framework: create SOPs, training modules, knowledge‑base articles, and regular workshops for internal staff and partner technicians.
- When technical demand is low, shift focus to sales activities such as preparing quotations, conducting product demonstrations, and following up on leads.
- Travel to customer sites across the region, often requiring mobile work and flexible scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, generate performance reports, and feed insights back to product development and quality teams.
Requirements
- Male candidate, minimum education D3/S1 in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in panel building, electrical contracting, or an electrical services company.
- Strong familiarity with Schneider Electric product lines, low‑voltage panel installation, and wiring practices.
- Knowledge of Indonesian PLN standards and IEC international standards.
- Proven ability to perform basic electrical analysis, troubleshoot circuits, and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Detail‑oriented, honest, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to work mobile, with a flexible schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:30‑16:30).
- Must submit a complete application package: updated CV, latest OJK report (available at idebku.ojk.go.id), photocopy of the highest diploma, current KTP, and a recent SKCK.
