Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative (SPG/SPB) to join our fast‑growing team in the Binjai region. This role focuses on promoting Hewlett‑Packard (HP) products across retail outlets, building lasting relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth. As part of a leading technology distributor, you will be the face of HP’s latest laptops, printers, and accessories, helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions while achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote HP product lines in assigned stores, ensuring product visibility and proper merchandising.
- Engage customers through personalized demonstrations, explaining key features, technical specifications, and benefits.
- Provide education and post‑sale support, guiding customers on optimal usage, warranty options, and accessories.
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning and recommend the most suitable HP solutions.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into closed sales.
- Collaborate with store managers and internal sales teams to coordinate promotional events, in‑store demos, and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist in ordering processes to avoid out‑of‑stock situations.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets; prepare reports for management review.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest HP technology trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to provide strategic recommendations.
- Uphold company standards for customer service, brand representation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 28 years or younger.
- At least one year of proven sales experience in the consumer electronics or mobile phone sector, preferably with HP products.
- Strong orientation toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Adaptability to fast‑changing market conditions and willingness to continuously learn new product features.
- Proficiency with basic sales tools such as point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, mobile CRM apps, and Microsoft Office.
- Professional demeanor, reliable attendance, and a commitment to the Monday‑Saturday work schedule (08:00‑17:00).
