We are seeking a motivated Assistant Shop Operations – Customer Service & Sales Support to join our dynamic retail team. Responsibilities
- Manage Incoming Shipments: Receive, unload, verify, and organize deliveries from suppliers and vendors efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory counts and timely stock replenishment.
- Product Display & Merchandising: Arrange, label, and price items on shelves and display units to maximise visibility, accessibility and visual appeal, following planograms and promotional guidelines.
- Customer Service: Greet shoppers with a warm smile, assist them in locating products, answer product‑related questions, and provide personalized recommendations that match their needs.
- Cashier Operations: Process sales transactions quickly and accurately, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts while adhering to loss‑prevention procedures.
- Build Customer Loyalty: Listen attentively to complaints or inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Drive Sales Growth: Suggest complementary items, promote current promotions, and upsell where appropriate to increase average transaction value.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in stocking, cleaning, and visual merchandising to keep the sales floor tidy, organized, and safe.
- Loss Prevention & Housekeeping: Conduct regular checks to prevent shrinkage, maintain a clean sales area, and ensure merchandise is presented in pristine condition.
- General Store Support: Assist with inventory counts, price audits, and any ad‑hoc tasks that help the store operate smoothly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- No prior work experience required – we provide full training.
- Basic computer literacy: ability to use point‑of‑sale (POS) software and inventory systems.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a functional command of English.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, patient, and able to handle multiple customers simultaneously.
- Physical ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality: shift hours are 08:00 – 15:30, with scheduling communicated in advance.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and share best practices.
