Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Assist head chefs and kitchen supervisors in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, spices, and consumables, and report shortages to the procurement team.
  • Ensure all workstations are kept clean, organized, and compliant with food‑safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
  • Support the plating and garnishing process to guarantee consistent visual appeal of each plate.
  • Assist in receiving deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of incoming goods, and storing them correctly.
  • Participate in daily kitchen briefings, sharing any concerns about equipment, ingredients, or workflow.
  • Adhere strictly to shift schedules (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and report any absences promptly.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, agility, and honesty in all tasks, acting as a role model for junior staff.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements, waste reduction, and cost‑saving initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18‑40 years old.
