Responsibilities
- Operate steam ironing equipment safely and efficiently to achieve wrinkle‑free results on a wide variety of fabrics.
- Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special care instructions before processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with sorting, folding, and labeling of laundered items to ensure accurate delivery.
- Collaborate with the laundry team to manage workflow, prioritize urgent orders, and meet daily production targets.
- Record daily output and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Utilize Android‑based inventory and order‑tracking applications to update job status and communicate with customers.
- Provide courteous customer service when interacting directly with clients, answering basic queries about garment care.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest fabric‑care techniques and safety protocols.
- Support occasional inventory checks, ensuring that cleaning agents and supplies are stocked and properly stored.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates preferred; male applicants must possess a valid motorbike driving license (SIM Motor).
- Prior experience in a laundry or garment‑care setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong work ethic: honest, diligent, disciplined, and motivated to learn.
- Excellent communication skills; polite, friendly, and able to interact professionally with customers and teammates.
- Basic proficiency with Android smartphones for using operational apps.
- Not currently enrolled in college or school, ensuring full availability for the work schedule.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting (up to 15 kg).
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for fabric quality and finishing standards.
