Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staf Pajak for our Klaten branch office. This role is central to ensuring that our tax obligations are met accurately and on time, supporting both the finance team and the broader business operations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting or taxation, demonstrable experience in handling Indonesian tax matters, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings including PPh (Income Tax) and PPN (Value‑Added Tax) to the Directorate General of Taxes.
  • Maintain and reconcile tax ledgers, ensuring all entries are accurate and supported by proper documentation.
  • Utilize e‑SPT and e‑Faktur platforms to file electronic tax returns and generate electronic invoices, guaranteeing compliance with the latest regulatory updates.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the finance department on potential impacts to the organization.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants and government agencies during audits or inquiries, providing required documents promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax provision calculations for the monthly closing process.
  • Support internal audit activities by supplying tax‑related evidence and explanations.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic filing system for all tax records, ensuring easy retrieval for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure that tax implications are considered in financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Promote best practices in tax administration across the branch, offering training or guidance to junior staff when needed.

Requirements

  • Gender: All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Age: Maximum 35 years.
  • Education: Minimum D3/D4, preferably a S1 degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in tax functions, preferably within an Indonesian corporate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in handling PPh & PPN, and experienced with e‑SPT, e‑Faktur, and other electronic tax reporting tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly meticulous, responsible, and able to work under strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
