Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Machine Technician – Maintenance & Repair to join our fast‑growing manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous, efficient operation of our injection molding lines, which produce high‑quality plastic components for the automotive, consumer goods, and medical device sectors. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on technical expertise with a proactive, safety‑first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components of injection molding machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine stoppages, including diagnosing faults in servo drives, PLCs, and hydraulic circuits.
- Execute corrective repairs on molds, clamping systems, and cooling circuits to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, update equipment history, and report recurring issues to engineering leadership.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to schedule maintenance during shift changes, ensuring minimal impact on output.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery, verifying alignment, calibration, and safety interlocks.
- Conduct functional testing after repairs and validate that machines meet quality and cycle‑time specifications.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and root‑cause analysis (RCA) projects.
- Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE and conducting lock‑out/tag‑out procedures before work begins.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably SMK in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Tool & Die.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in molding, machine maintenance, or injection molding environments.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on injection molding equipment.
- Strong understanding of molding cycle parameters, tool changeovers, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and PLC code snippets.
- Personal attributes: honesty, discipline, proactiveness, responsibility, and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00).

- Basic computer literacy for maintenance software and data entry.
