Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store, creating a positive first impression.
- Answer product‑related inquiries, provide detailed information, and suggest alternatives that meet customers’ needs.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and receipt generation.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, restocking promotional materials and ensuring pricing tags are up‑to‑date.
- Assist with inventory checks, shelf replenishment, and the preparation of merchandise for display.
- Monitor store traffic and report any irregularities or potential security concerns to management.
- Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet daily sales targets and improve overall store performance.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
- Adhere to the store’s operating hours, working flexible shifts from Monday through Sunday, 08:00 – 21:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA), Vocational High School (SMK) or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, reflecting our current staffing strategy for this role.
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to speak clearly and listen actively.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to engage with diverse customers and resolve issues calmly.
- Professional service etiquette—politeness, patience, and a helpful attitude at all times.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions and operating the POS system.
- Reliability and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 15 kg when necessary.
