Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Credit Card Representative to join a leading private bank in Indonesia. This role focuses on acquiring new customers and promoting the bank’s premium credit‑card portfolio across multiple channels. As the front‑line ambassador of the bank’s financial products, you will play a pivotal part in expanding market share, deepening customer relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the institution within a highly competitive banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Proactively approach prospective clients through direct selling, networking events, referrals, and digital outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Present and explain the features, benefits, fees, and eligibility criteria of the bank’s credit‑card offerings with clear, persuasive communication.
- Gather, verify, and submit complete application documentation in accordance with internal compliance standards and regulatory requirements (BI, OJK, SLIK).
- Maintain a robust pipeline by following up on pending applications, coordinating with underwriting teams, and ensuring timely approval or feedback to candidates.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the bank, tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with existing cardholders to encourage product usage, cross‑selling of ancillary services, and referrals of new prospects.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regular training sessions, sales workshops, and performance reviews to continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and risk management teams to streamline the sales process and enhance the customer experience.
- Represent the bank professionally in field activities, ensuring compliance with all internal policies and external regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred, any discipline accepted.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in credit‑card sales, banking, or financial services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is an advantage.
- Goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile/field environment as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
- Professional appearance and high level of personal motivation.
- Clear BI Checking / SLIK OJK record with no adverse credit history.
- Proficiency in sales analysis tools, data‑driven decision making, and basic CRM systems.
- Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel for events and client visits.
