To support our growing customer base, we are looking for a dedicated Teknisi Jaringan Fiber Optik who will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality broadband services. Responsibilities
- Perform installation, testing, and activation of fiber‑optic connections at customer premises, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Provide remote and on‑site technical support, troubleshooting connectivity issues, signal loss, or equipment failures.
- Configure and calibrate optical network terminals (ONT), routers, and related hardware to integrate seamlessly with the company’s backbone network.
- Document all service activities, including work orders, test results, and customer interactions, using the company’s CRM system.
- Educate customers on proper usage of fiber services, explaining technical concepts in clear, non‑technical language.
- Collaborate with the network operations center to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, spare parts, and safety equipment, reporting shortages or damages promptly.
- Adhere to company policies on health, safety, and environmental protection, including proper handling of fiber cables and protective gear.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with emerging fiber‑optic technologies, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on installation processes and customer service workflows.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, aged 32 years or younger.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma (D3) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in fiber‑optic installation, FTTH, or ISP environments, with a solid understanding of backbone network architecture.
- Strong technical knowledge of fiber‑optic components, splicing, testing equipment (OTDR, power meter), and network protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and network diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize multiple service tickets.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A) for travel to customer sites.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
