Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian (TTK) – Spesialis Farmasi to join our growing pharmacy team in a dynamic hospital environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant handling of all pharmaceutical products, from receipt through storage, inventory management, and dispensing support. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists, clinicians, and supply‑chain personnel to maintain the highest standards of medication safety and availability, contributing directly to patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end medication flow, including receipt of drug shipments, verification of invoices, and proper documentation of all incoming stock.
- Maintain organized, temperature‑controlled storage areas, ensuring that all medicines are stored according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular stock opname (physical inventory counts) and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and the electronic inventory system.
- Update and maintain accurate medication records in the hospital’s pharmacy management software, ensuring traceability for every batch.
- Assist pharmacists in preparing medication carts, compounding sterile products, and verifying the correct dosage and labeling for patient administration.
- Monitor expiry dates, implement first‑expiry‑first‑out (FEFO) practices, and coordinate the safe disposal of expired or recalled products.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast drug usage, suggest optimal reorder points, and prevent stock‑outs or overstock situations.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and supporting corrective actions to maintain compliance with national health regulations.
- Educate and train junior pharmacy staff and interns on proper handling, storage, and documentation procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff, responding promptly to medication inquiries and ensuring timely delivery of drugs to clinical units.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 Pharmacy (S1 preferred) with a valid STRTTK (Surat Tanda Registrasi Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a hospital pharmacy or similar clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and drug safety standards.
- Proficiency with pharmacy inventory software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to interact professionally with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and medication information.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods or emergency situations.
