Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Tentor Bahasa Sunda (Freelance) to join our language education team in Kota Semarang. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about preserving and teaching the Sundanese language, whether you are a current university student or a recent graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. As a freelance tutor, you will enjoy a flexible work environment while making a meaningful impact on learners of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Sundanese language lessons for beginner to intermediate learners, both in‑person and via online platforms.
- Develop customized teaching materials, including worksheets, audio recordings, and interactive activities that reflect cultural nuances.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and feedback sessions, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records using our digital learning management system.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and curriculum developers to ensure consistency across all language courses.
- Participate in weekly team meetings (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) to discuss lesson plans, share best practices, and coordinate scheduling.
- Provide mentorship and support to learners, fostering confidence and encouraging regular practice outside the classroom.
- Stay updated on contemporary teaching methodologies and incorporate technology‑enhanced learning tools.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Linguistics, Indonesian Studies, or related fields.

- Strong command of Bahasa Sunda (both spoken and written) and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience teaching or tutoring, preferably in language instruction.
