Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly, attentive demeanor.
- Explain daily specials, menu items, and beverage options, answering any questions to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s POS system, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, checking for correct presentation and guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including resetting tables quickly after guests depart.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards, performing regular sanitation tasks as required.
- Demonstrate “Attitude No.1” by displaying professionalism, a positive outlook, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Exhibit disciplined, punctual, and orderly behavior, arriving for shifts on time and following the restaurant’s uniform and grooming policies.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service flow.
- Handle guest complaints with empathy and resolve issues swiftly, escalating to management when necessary.
- Assist in inventory checks, restocking of condiments, and preparation of service stations before opening and after closing.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 35 years old (flexible based on experience and attitude).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience as a waiter or in a customer‑service role is preferred, though motivated newcomers will also be considered.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities (e.g., English) are a plus.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a disciplined work ethic.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift trays up to 15 kg, and move swiftly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to maintaining a clean, tidy uniform.
