Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Staff IT Support to join our growing team in South Jakarta (Jakarta Selatan). This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be the first line of defense for all hardware, software, and network issues across the organization. Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical problems, including hardware failures, printer malfunctions, and network connectivity issues.
- Hardware Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs and upgrades on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Software & OS Issue Resolution: Identify and fix errors related to operating systems, enterprise applications, and custom software solutions.
- Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and commission new hardware, operating systems, and software applications in accordance with company standards.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular updates, patches, and preventative maintenance to keep systems secure and up‑to‑date.
- System & Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor servers, workstations, and network infrastructure to detect and address potential disruptions before they impact users.
- Incident Response: Act swiftly to resolve downtime incidents, minimizing business impact and documenting root‑cause analyses.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create clear, user‑friendly technical guides, standard operating procedures, and incident logs.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions and one‑on‑one coaching to empower staff with essential IT skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior IT engineers, vendors, and other departments to coordinate large‑scale rollouts and projects.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, printers, and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, common office applications, and enterprise software.
- Experience with installing and configuring operating systems, drivers, and productivity suites.
- Ability to perform routine system updates, patch management, and backup verification.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and the ability to quickly identify and mitigate outages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating documentation and delivering user training.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and a customer‑service oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices and data protection standards.
