Responsibilities
- Assist in packaging freshly baked breads and pastries, ensuring each item is presented neatly and safely for customer purchase.
- Set up and maintain attractive product displays on the bakery showcase, rotating items regularly to highlight seasonal offerings and promotions.
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, introduce them to new and featured bakery products, and provide recommendations based on taste preferences.
- Maintain a clean and orderly service area, including tables, countertops, and the display case, following health‑and‑safety standards at all times.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions efficiently, processing cash and electronic payments while maintaining accurate cash registers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely replenishment of baked goods and coordinate smooth service during peak periods.
- Adhere to the shift schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any service issues with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, hygiene protocols, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 26 years old.
- Open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates and first‑time job seekers are welcome.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (and basic English is a plus).
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 10 kg, and perform light manual tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
