Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Staff Kitchen Operations and Maintenance professional to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigeration units.
- Conduct daily inspections to identify and report any malfunctioning appliances or safety hazards.
- Coordinate with the head chef and kitchen staff to ensure that workstations are organized, stocked, and ready for peak service periods.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for special events, catering orders, and seasonal menu changes.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment servicing, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Support waste management initiatives by properly disposing of food waste, recycling materials, and adhering to local health regulations.
- Participate in regular safety drills, fire‑extinguishing training, and first‑aid procedures to promote a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with procurement to order and receive replacement parts, ensuring minimal downtime for critical appliances.
- Provide on‑the‑spot troubleshooting during high‑volume periods, minimizing disruptions to food preparation.
- Mentor junior staff on proper equipment handling, cleaning protocols, and best practices for kitchen hygiene.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to both male and female candidates (as long as they are not former employees of a competitor).
- Age within the productive working range; we are looking for a “Spartan” mindset—energetic, resilient, and ready for fast‑paced environments.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating cooperation, humility, and a belief that success comes from collective effort.
- Strong interpersonal and “asik” communication style that fosters positive relationships with teammates and customers alike.
- Relevant experience in kitchen operations, equipment handling, or facility maintenance; experience is considered the best teacher.
- High level of discipline, reliability, and responsibility, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard.
- Technical skill in operating and troubleshooting common kitchen equipment.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
