Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Officer Remedial (Collection) to join our team in Selat Panjang, Riau. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the company’s cash flow by ensuring that overdue receivables are collected efficiently and in accordance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including credit underwriting, legal, and customer service, to achieve collection targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for accounts receivable (A/R) that are overdue, ensuring timely recovery in line with company policies.
- Conduct regular monitoring of delinquent accounts, updating the collection dashboard and reporting progress to senior management.
- Initiate contact with borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans, restructure terms, or arrange settlements.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to assess risk levels and recommend appropriate collection strategies for high‑risk portfolios.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities, agreements, and communications in the company’s CRM system.
- Assist the legal department in preparing necessary documentation for litigation or enforcement actions when required.
- Provide periodic analysis of collection trends, identify root causes of delinquency, and propose process improvements to reduce future defaults.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, industry regulations, and ethical standards throughout the collection cycle.
- Participate in weekly and monthly performance meetings, presenting key metrics and action plans.
- Support new hire training and mentor junior collection staff on best practices and negotiation techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services (experience is a strong advantage).
- Male candidates, aged 30 years or younger.
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a target‑driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
- High level of integrity, persistence, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring, debt collection procedures, and use of CRM or collection software.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with flexibility to attend occasional field visits.
- Placement will be at Adira Finance office closest to the candidate’s domicile.
