Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pengemudi Kendaraan Restoran to join our logistics team in Surabaya. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting food items from our kitchen facilities to customers and partner locations across the northern part of the city, particularly in the Sidodadi area. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of timely delivery and customer satisfaction that our restaurant brand is known for.
Responsibilities
- Operate a company‑provided vehicle to transport prepared meals, catering orders, and related supplies to designated delivery points.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations to ensure zero accidents and protect company assets.
- Maintain an accurate daily log of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Prepare and submit detailed trip reports to the logistics supervisor at the end of each workday.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brake function, and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to verify order contents, manage loading procedures, and resolve any discrepancies before departure.
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers, answering basic queries about delivery status when required.
- Assist with occasional loading and unloading of heavier items, ensuring safe handling and proper placement within the vehicle.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- At least 1 year of proven experience driving a motor vehicle for commercial purposes.
- Valid Indonesian SIM B1 (motor vehicle license) with a clean driving record.
- Residency in Surabaya is mandatory; candidates must be domiciled in the city.
- Strong knowledge of Surabaya’s road network, especially the northern districts such as Sidodadi.
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to follow a fixed schedule (08:00 – 17:00).
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills, including routine checks and minor troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude when representing the company.
