Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff by preparing basic ingredients, washing vegetables, and handling routine food prep tasks.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and small appliances, ensuring they are clean and functional.
- Perform thorough cleaning of workstations, cooking surfaces, floors, and storage areas following established sanitation protocols.
- Collect and dispose of waste in accordance with local health regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, disposable gloves, and other consumables; report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and storing items in the proper locations.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service periods by handling extra cleaning duties and helping with plating or garnishing when needed.
- Participate in regular safety drills, fire‑prevention checks, and equipment maintenance inspections.
- Maintain a tidy and organized locker area, ensuring personal hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Communicate any equipment malfunctions or hygiene concerns promptly to the kitchen manager.
Requirements

- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or an equivalent qualification.

- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and move swiftly across the kitchen floor.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and a keen eye for detail in cleaning tasks.

- Excellent punctuality and reliability; ability to adhere to a fixed schedule of 08:00‑17:00, Monday‑Saturday.
