Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Dokter Umum Spesialis Layanan Kesehatan Primer to join our growing network of primary health care centers. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care to diverse communities, ensuring that preventive, curative, and emergency services are accessible and of the highest quality. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with nurses, health educators, and administrative staff to promote overall community wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose, and treat common acute and chronic illnesses in an outpatient setting.
- Provide immediate emergency care, including trauma stabilization, utilizing ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate follow‑up.
- Lead health promotion and disease prevention initiatives, such as vaccination campaigns, nutrition counseling, and lifestyle modification programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with national regulations and our internal quality‑assurance standards.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists or secondary‑level hospitals when advanced care is required, and ensure smooth handover of patient information.
- Participate in regular clinical audits, case reviews, and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery.
- Mentor junior medical staff, interns, and community health workers, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Engage with patients and families in a culturally sensitive manner, delivering clear explanations and compassionate support.
- Adhere to infection control policies, occupational safety guidelines, and ethical standards at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: S1 in Medicine (professional degree as a General Practitioner).
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license recognized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
- Age: up to 35 years old, inclusive of all genders.
- Current certification in ATLS and ACLS, or willingness to obtain these within the first three months of employment.
- At least 0‑2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or community health setting (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated competence in health management, including patient flow coordination and resource optimization.
- Proactive attitude, critical thinking, and the ability to make swift decisions in emergency situations.
