Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Staff Dapur dan Persiapan Makanan to join our fast‑growing culinary team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and safety. The successful candidate will work closely with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow kitchen assistants to support daily operations in a bustling restaurant environment that serves a diverse clientele, including families, business travelers, and event guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of a wide variety of menu items, following standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Perform basic cooking tasks such as boiling, sautéing, grilling, and assembling cold dishes under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, adhering to local health‑code regulations and internal hygiene protocols.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and minimizing waste.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or low‑stock items to the kitchen manager.
- Support the kitchen team during peak service periods by expediting orders, replenishing garnishes, and restocking supplies.
- Assist in the preparation and setup of buffet stations, catering events, and special promotions.
- Participate in daily briefings, sharing feedback on workflow improvements and any safety concerns.
- Comply with all safety guidelines, including the proper use of kitchen equipment, knives, and fire‑suppression systems.
- Continuously develop culinary knowledge through on‑the‑job training, workshops, and mentorship from senior chefs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, with a maximum age of 30 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on cooking or kitchen assistance experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high‑pressure environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues and guests.
- Excellent teamwork skills; able to communicate clearly and support fellow staff members.
- Basic administrative abilities such as record‑keeping for inventory and waste logs.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 kg).
