Introduction

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Koki Senior – Spesialis Masakan Tradisional dan Internasional to join our dynamic culinary team in Boyolali. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about blending the rich flavors of Indonesian traditional cuisine with the techniques and presentation of international dishes. As a senior chef, you will play a pivotal part in elevating our menu, mentoring junior kitchen staff, and ensuring that every plate that leaves the kitchen meets the highest standards of taste, safety, and visual appeal.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute a diverse menu that features both traditional Indonesian specialties and popular international recipes.
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow from prep to service during the standard schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate junior chefs and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative and learning‑oriented environment.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols in compliance with local health regulations.
  • Manage inventory, place orders for fresh produce, meats, spices, and specialty ingredients, and control waste to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house managers to coordinate special events, banquets, and themed dinner nights.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment, perform routine checks, and ensure all tools are operated safely and effectively.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends, new cooking techniques, and emerging ingredients to keep the menu innovative and competitive.
  • Assist in budgeting, pricing menu items, and analyzing profit margins.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest feedback and making adjustments to improve satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Gender: Female candidates are preferred, but the position is open to all qualified individuals.
  • Residence: Must reside in Boyolali City or surrounding areas.
  • Experience: Prior experience as a chef or in food service is highly valued; fresh graduates with strong culinary school training are also considered.
  • Age: No strict age limit; we welcome both young talent and seasoned professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment, including grills, ovens, fryers, and food processors.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and time‑management abilities; ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
  • Language: Basic proficiency in Indonesian; English is a plus for interpreting international recipes.
