Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Assist in the daily planning of food production, ensuring sufficient stock levels for all shifts.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inventory checks, record usage, and report any shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Follow all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to local health‑code regulations.
- Collaborate closely with chefs, sous‑chefs, and fellow kitchen staff to meet service timelines.
- Support special events and catering orders by adjusting preparation schedules and scaling recipes.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, culinary techniques, and team communication.
- Uphold the company’s core value of integrity by practicing honesty and respect in all interactions.
Requirements
- Education: Open to all educational levels; a diploma in culinary arts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Age: Candidates up to 35 years old are preferred, though the role is open to younger applicants.
