Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part‑time teachers to join our early childhood program on weekends in the Cibinong, Cibubur, and Greenlake areas. This role is perfect for educators who love creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for children aged 2‑6 years and who enjoy engaging directly with families during trial sessions. As a weekend teacher, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing our school’s curriculum, building trust with prospective parents, and laying the foundation for a child’s lifelong love of learning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging weekend trial classes for prospective students aged 2‑6, demonstrating the school’s teaching philosophy.
- Design and deliver developmentally appropriate activities that blend play, music, storytelling, and basic literacy‑numeracy concepts.
- Foster a welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, confidence, and cooperation among children and their parents.
- Observe each child’s responses, document progress, and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents and the academic team.
- Collaborate closely with full‑time teachers and curriculum specialists to ensure trial activities align with the school’s standards and learning outcomes.
- Maintain strict safety protocols, conduct regular headcounts, and ensure a child‑proof environment throughout the session.
- Assist with classroom setup, material preparation, and post‑class clean‑up to keep the learning space organized.
- Participate in brief weekly debriefs with the academic team to discuss observations, share ideas, and continuously improve the trial experience.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (D4) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience teaching preschool or early‑years children; prior experience with trial or demo classes is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, enabling clear interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about fostering early learning through play‑based methods.
- Ability to engage both children and parents during trial sessions, answering questions and building confidence in the program.
- Availability to work on weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) for a minimum of 4 days per month.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
- Commitment to adhering to health, safety, and child‑protection policies at all times.
Benefits
- Competitive daily fee of IDR 500,000 (transportation included) for each weekend day worked.
- Additional incentive of IDR 50,000 per extra day when you exceed four days in a month (e.g., IDR 550,000 for the 5th day and beyond).
- Full‑month bonus of IDR 500,000 for teachers who work every weekend in a given month.
- Estimated monthly earnings ranging from IDR 2,000,000 to IDR 5,500,000, depending on attendance and bonuses.
