Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Merchandiser Staff Professional to join our fast‑growing manufacturing team in Kab. Grobogan. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising plans that align with seasonal trends, sales forecasts, and brand positioning.
- Coordinate with product development, production, and supply‑chain teams to ensure timely availability of styles and SKUs.
- Conduct regular store and warehouse visits to assess product placement, shelf space utilization, and visual compliance.
- Prepare detailed merchandising reports, including sales performance, stock levels, and recommendation for replenishment.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional displays, point‑of‑sale materials, and in‑store signage.
- Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for inventory tracking, pricing updates, and performance dashboards.
- Train and guide junior staff or external vendors on brand standards, product knowledge, and visual merchandising techniques.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for product line extensions or layout improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards during product handling and display setup.
- Act as a liaison between the manufacturing floor and retail partners, communicating production schedules, lead times, and any potential delays.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or S1 (any major) – a background in Business, Design, or Supply Chain is a plus.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in merchandising, preferably within the bag, wallet, or broader accessories manufacturing sector.
- Proficient English language skills, both spoken and written, to interact with international suppliers and corporate stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities and proven communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presenting merchandising strategies.
- Willingness to be based in Kab. Grobogan and travel frequently to retail locations and distribution centers.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining visual standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, to meet critical project deadlines.
