PT. Transportasi Nusantara is seeking a Pengemudi Profesional to join our expanding fleet that provides reliable cargo and passenger transportation across the region. This role is pivotal in ensuring that goods arrive on time and that passengers experience a safe, comfortable journey. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, disciplined driver with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to contribute to a high‑performing logistics team.
Work days are Monday through Saturday, with a standard schedule of 08:00 – 17:00. The position offers a stable income, opportunities for overtime, and a supportive work environment that values safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate company‑owned vehicles (cars, vans, or light trucks) safely and efficiently to transport goods and passengers.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre‑trip inspections, check fluid levels, tire pressure, and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Load and unload cargo responsibly, securing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and provide courteous service throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, delivery receipts, and incident reports as required by company policy.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, company safety protocols, and the latest health‑related guidelines (e.g., COVID‑19 safety measures).
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and fellow team members to coordinate pick‑ups, drop‑offs, and schedule changes.
- Participate in regular training sessions on defensive driving, customer service, and emergency response.
- Contribute ideas for route optimization, cost‑saving measures, and service improvements during team meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian SIM A (for operating motor vehicles) and a clean driving record.
- Age: 40 years or younger.
- Preferred gender: Female (the company promotes gender diversity while also considering male applicants who meet all criteria).
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work full‑time with a consistent schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Physical ability to lift and secure cargo up to 30 kg and to sit for extended periods while driving.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a genuine desire to grow within the transportation industry.
