We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat Profesional to join our growing team of private tutors in Yogyakarta. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to inspire and mentor students ranging from early childhood (TK) through high school (SMA) in a supportive and academically focused environment. Responsibilities
- Develop customized lesson plans for students across all levels (TK, SD, SMP, SMA) that align with national curriculum standards.
- Deliver engaging, interactive private tutoring sessions either at the student’s home or at our learning centre, ensuring a clear understanding of subject matter.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and informal observation, providing constructive feedback to both students and their parents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson content, and performance metrics using our digital tracking system.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss goals, challenges, and achievements, fostering a collaborative approach to each learner’s development.
- Prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and supplemental resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
- Adhere to the scheduled working hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and be flexible to accommodate occasional evening or weekend sessions as required by student demand.
- Uphold a professional appearance and conduct, representing the organization’s values of respect, integrity, and excellence.
Requirements
- Female candidates only, in line with the client’s cultural preferences.
- Minimum education: active university student in the final semester or a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; candidates with an education background are preferred.
- Strong passion for teaching and a genuine interest in working with children and teenagers.
- Ability to teach a variety of subjects across multiple grade levels (TK‑SMA).
- Excellent communication skills, patience, discipline, and a high level of responsibility.
- Professional, tidy, and courteous appearance at all times.
- Willingness to follow the predetermined teaching schedule and adapt to the needs of each student.
- Residency within the Yogyakarta area is a plus, facilitating timely travel to tutoring locations.
