Introduction
We are seeking dynamic, self‑motivated freelancers to join the marketing team of a leading Bank Syariah. This role focuses on expanding the bank’s digital payment ecosystem—specifically QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) and new account openings—by engaging micro‑, small‑ and medium‑enterprise (UMKM) owners across the region. As a freelance marketer, you will act as the face of the bank, building relationships, facilitating onboarding, and driving sales performance while enjoying flexible, commission‑based compensation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing and scheduled visits to UMKM operators, retail outlets, and other small businesses to introduce QRIS services and new bank account options.
- Guide prospective merchants through the registration and activation process for both QRIS accounts and bank accounts, ensuring all documentation is correctly completed.
- Prepare daily and weekly acquisition reports that capture the number of contacts made, conversion rates, and any obstacles encountered in the field.
- Maintain and nurture strong, professional relationships with existing and newly onboarded merchants to encourage repeat usage and upsell additional banking services.
- Collaborate with the internal sales and compliance teams to ensure all promotional activities align with Sharia‑compliant banking standards.
- Provide feedback from the field to the marketing department to help refine outreach scripts, promotional materials, and product offerings.
- Utilize personal transportation and a valid driver’s license to travel efficiently across assigned territories.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; inclusive hiring policy.
- No strict age limit; candidates of any age who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply.
- Prior sales or direct‑selling experience is highly desirable, especially in financial services or digital payment solutions.
- Strong orientation toward achieving targets and meeting sales quotas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Demonstrated negotiation and relationship‑building abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Own a reliable motor vehicle and a valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
