Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test new electrical wiring, lighting, and power distribution systems according to engineering drawings and local codes.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on transformers, generators, circuit breakers, and other critical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, short circuits, and equipment malfunctions using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and meet project milestones.
- Document all work performed, including test results, maintenance logs, and incident reports, in the company’s ERP system.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on every job site.
- Provide on‑call support for emergency repairs during weekends, public holidays, and off‑regular‑working‑day periods as required.
- Assist in the training of junior technicians and apprentices, sharing best practices in wiring techniques and safety standards.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest developments in electrical technology, especially in electronics and renewable energy integration.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma (SMA) or vocational diploma (SMK) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in building electrical systems, knowledge of current (arus listrik), and a solid understanding of electronics is highly preferred.
- Problem‑Solving Ability: Demonstrated aptitude for diagnosing complex electrical issues and implementing effective solutions quickly.
- Attitude & Work Ethic: Strong personal attitude, reliability, and the capability to work under tight deadlines and high‑pressure environments.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, with occasional days off during regular weekdays.
