Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer to join our growing team in the Batam area. This role focuses on promoting vehicle financing solutions and refinancing facilities to both individual and corporate customers. Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive marketing activities to generate leads for motor vehicle financing and refinancing products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, brokers, and other key stakeholders to expand the distribution network.
- Guide prospective borrowers through the credit application process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
- Perform creditworthiness analysis, evaluating financial statements, repayment capacity, and risk factors to determine loan eligibility.
- Monitor the portfolio of approved financing to ensure payments remain current and intervene early when delinquency risks arise.
- Collaborate with the underwriting and risk‑management teams to refine product offerings and improve approval turnaround times.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market intelligence, and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting automotive financing.
- Participate in community events and promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility in the Batam region.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably within automotive financing, banking, or leasing.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess credit risk and make data‑driven decisions.
- Demonstrated negotiation and persuasive selling techniques.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or loan‑origination systems.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
