Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a warm, courteous attitude.
- Explain daily specials, recommend dishes and beverages, and answer questions about ingredients, dietary restrictions, and preparation methods.
- Accurately take food and drink orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery to the guest.
- Monitor table progress, refill drinks, clear plates, and anticipate additional guest needs to maintain a seamless dining experience.
- Process payments using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate service flow and resolve any issues quickly.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, training sessions, and occasional inventory checks.
- Promote a positive brand image by adhering to the restaurant’s dress code, grooming standards, and customer service protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑29 years (maximum 29 years).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience in food & beverage service is preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates with strong enthusiasm are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, especially during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates as needed.
- Team‑player mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
