As a frontline representative, you will identify new borrowers, provide economic counseling to households, evaluate loan applications, and ensure timely collections. Responsibilities
- Prospect new borrowers: Actively seek out potential clients in the Majalengka region, introduce them to Amartha’s micro‑loan programs, and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Economic household counseling: Conduct regular visits to existing members, assess their financial health, offer budgeting advice, and support them in using loan funds effectively.
- Loan feasibility surveys: Perform on‑site data collection and analysis to determine the creditworthiness of applicants, adhering strictly to Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework and regulatory guidelines.
- Documentation and compliance: Prepare accurate application packages, verify supporting documents, and ensure all submissions meet internal policies and external compliance standards.
- Collections and repayment monitoring: Execute daily collection activities, follow up on overdue payments, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain detailed records of all interactions.
- Community relationship building: Establish trust with local leaders, cooperatives, and partner organizations to foster a supportive ecosystem for micro‑entrepreneurs.
- Reporting: Submit weekly field reports summarizing outreach metrics, loan approvals, collection status, and any emerging market insights to the regional manager.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
- Gender: Open to all; preference given to candidates who can navigate diverse community dynamics.
- Possession of a valid personal motor vehicle for daily field travel.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms.
- Resilience and adaptability to work independently in varying field conditions.
- Basic digital literacy – comfortable using smartphones, data entry apps, and digital reporting tools.
- Prior experience in field sales, micro‑finance, or community outreach is a plus, but not mandatory.
