Introduction
BRI Life, a leading life insurance provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Regional Bancassurance Advisor to cover Semarang and surrounding areas. This role is pivotal in expanding our bancassurance footprint, delivering tailored protection solutions, and building lasting relationships with both banking partners and individual customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance, ensuring that every policy sold adheres to the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Obtain, maintain, and renew all required agency licenses and certifications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Promote, market, and close sales of BRI Life’s product portfolio, including term life, endowment, and savings‑linked policies, while adhering to product guidelines.
- Interpret and apply government legislation, the code of ethics of the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI), and BRI Life’s internal policies in daily activities.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set for the region, using data‑driven prospecting and relationship‑building techniques.
- Uphold BRI Life’s business ethics, agency conduct standards, and industry best practices at all times.
- Manage the issuance of policy documents, ensure accurate filing of policy receipt acknowledgments, and maintain organized records for all client interactions.
- Provide clear, truthful information to prospective and existing policyholders, addressing questions about coverage, benefits, and claim procedures.
- Conduct thorough underwriting reviews, verify applicant data, and witness the signing of insurance applications to guarantee data integrity.
- Assist the company in profiling prospects to match the most appropriate insurance solutions with their financial needs and risk tolerance.
- Collaborate with branch staff, underwriters, and support teams to maintain a harmonious working environment and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product updates, and compliance workshops to stay current with market trends and regulatory changes.
- Report sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to regional management on a weekly basis.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in insurance sales, bancassurance, or related financial services.
- Possession of valid agency licensing and registration as required by Indonesian insurance authorities.
- Strong knowledge of BRI Life’s product suite and ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
- High ethical standards and commitment to complying with AAJI code of conduct and company policies.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and basic data entry systems.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
- Flexible schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
